Read Mark 6:1-6
“He could do no deed of power there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and cured them. And he was amazed at their unbelief” (Mark 6:5, 6).

Read Mark 6:1-6 “He could do no deed of power there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and cured them. And he was amazed at their unbelief” (Mark 6:5, 6). Read more on God says to you today: ‘Just trust me on this’… I’ve been looking around YouTube at the many videos there related to Bible study. I think it would be very useful to post an occasional video here, because there are many who learn more and learn better from videos. Read 1 Peter 3:1-22 “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15). Read 1 Peter 2:13-25 “Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover up for evil; live as servants of God” (1 Peter 2:16). What Does This Scripture Mean for Us? Read more on Live free in Christ, no matter what your circumstances… Read Hebrews 2:5-9 “Now in subjecting all things to them, God left nothing outside their control” (Hebrews 2:8). What Does This Scripture Mean for Us? When you look at the world, perhaps even when you look at how life’s going for you specifically, do you ever wonder why things aren’t quite “right” or what you might be able to do to make things “better” than you find them? Here’s a thought — as the old song lyrics go, “We have the power.” That line has been running through my head since re-reading this Scripture from Hebrews. Seeking and knowing God’s will means we must be following God carefully and closely every day. Read Numbers 9:15-23 “Whether it was two days, or a month, or a longer time, that the cloud continued over the tabernacle, resting upon it, the Israelites would remain in camp and would not set out; but when it lifted they would set out” (Numbers 9:22). Read John 3:1-21 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life” (John 3:16). For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2). Since my days as a teenager (approximately back in the Dark Ages; okay, in the 1960s), Campus Crusade for Christ has been very special to me and holds a special place in my heart. I recommitted my heart to Christ in the early 1960s as a result of Bible studies and fellowship with Campus Crusade groups. In 1965, I looked across a crowded room at a Campus Crusade weekly Bible study and saw a beautiful young lady with a beautiful smile. Two years later, the second greatest thing in my life happened when that beautiful young lady married me. Thank you, so much, for those of you who’ve been checking back here regularly. I’ve been away too long, I know. Sometimes life just steps along and carries you along with it. No big mystery or crisis involved in my absence. I simply let too many “things” and too much “busy-ness” keep me preoccupied. Read more on I have been away too long, I know, but now I’m back… |
