About Me
Hi. I'm Gary Speer. I'm a writer. At this point, most of my writing has been religious journalism and "regular" journalism. Specifically, I spent seven years as news editor of a weekly denominational magazine, and before that seven years as a newspaper copyeditor. Oh, and I've spent most of the last 30 years doing freelance writing/editing for religious publications.
That was all then and this is now. Now I'm striving to discern and fulfill just what the Lord has in store for me as a writer and a blogger.
Another part of the plan involves much more mundane activities: How to make a few bucks to live on until the great novels are finished and published. So you will find a few marketing links here to Internet merchants. I encourage you to look around by clicking on those links, as well as the other ads, search boxes, etc., you'll find on my site. You'll find some excellent bargains in gifts and collectibles, sports gear, quality furniture, and all-around
fun from most of my sites -- and to some excellent, useful products from the International Bible Society in particular on this site.
